Mr. Buschman has over thirty-five years of Nondestructive examination experience in the aircraft, aerospace, power generation, petrochemical, pulp and paper, cryogenic, and LNG industries. He functions as NIC’s management representative on projects, and his extensive hands-on experience with radiography has made him a highly sought after consultant in the Computed Radiography method.

Mr. Buschman currently holds five ASNT-TC-1A/CP-189 Level III certifications in Radiography, Visual Welding, VT123, Liquid Penetrant and Magnetic Particle examination, as well as two ANSI N45.2.6 Level III certifications in the Welding and Mechanical disciplines. Additionally, he is certified as Radiation Safety Officer.

Prior to joining NIC in 1994, Mr. Buschman was a certified NDE examiner in several methods performing inspections as a crew chief for the U.S. Air Force, as well as NDE in the commercial aircraft, aerospace, nuclear power generation and gas turbine industries.
